# Ourdream AI review: a brilliant creator with a coin meter on the chat

**Ourdream AI scored 7.0/10** in our October 2026 test. Best for: Designing a character and making pictures of them. Skip if: You want long free chats. Each message spends a coin.

Ourdream has the best character creator we tried: six stages, female, male or trans, realistic or anime, right down to occupation and voice. The chat is good at staying in character and bad at listening. On the free plan every message costs a coin; we paid for a month and the coin meter on chat went away, videos cost 100 coins, and cancelling took three screens and a 200-coin bribe.

- Not a good fit if you want to see a finished character before making an account.

## What you see

- We walked Ourdream’s character creator as a guest on 17 October 2026. It has six stages: Style, General, Face, Body, Details and Image. Style asks for female, male or trans, and realistic or anime.
- The Details stage asks for a name, an age, a voice, a personality, an occupation, a relationship, a hobby and a fetish, plus optional advanced details. Pressing Next there brought up a Cloudflare “verify you are human” box, and the code has a “Sign up to build your character” prompt, so guests don’t see the result.
- A free account started with 55 Dreamcoins. A banner above the chat read “55 Dreamcoins left · Unlock unlimited chat”. In our test each message took 1 coin and asking for a selfie opened “Scene generation, cost = 5”: 55 coins became 45 over six messages. We’d asked what she was doing right now; the picture came back as a partly nude mirror selfie. That’s why it isn’t on this page.
- On 19 October we paid for Premium monthly and reran the six messages in a new chat with the same character, in English this time. Messages on the default Balanced model no longer cost coins; the “thinking” models cost 1 coin a message. The selfie request skipped the reply and went straight to a picture for 5 coins: clothed this time, but a blouse open to the waist. Again, not on this page.
- Any picture can become a video for 100 coins. The row of one-tap actions under it is a list of sex positions, which tells you what the video tool is for.
- The bank’s notice for our $19.99 Premium payment on 19 October 2026 read “DREAMSTUDIOS.CO Limassol CY”. The site code separately says the charge will appear as “Dream Studio”.
- Cancelling took three screens: a required reason, then “Here’s 200 DreamCoins to continue your journey”, then a warning that your media will go back to being blurred. Premium stays on until the end of the paid month.
- The home page is a wall of community-made characters with tags. Many are explicit, and the tag list (we saw it in Chinese) includes teen, bullying and step-family fantasy.
- On 20 October we tested how far it goes with a new character we made, Nora, 28, an office worker. Ourdream’s writing settings have a “Lust Level” slider from Cold to Unhinged (“no limits, no pacing, maximum intensity every message”); we set it to Unhinged. There is no separate NSFW switch, and we saw no age check before anything that followed.
- It went explicit from the second message, before we’d asked for anything explicit. Asked for a nude photo, it skipped the reply and posted a fully nude picture for 5 coins. A 10-second video of it cost 100 coins, and the video actions on offer are a list of sex positions. We don’t publish any of it.
- Its own creator tagged our 28-year-old “Young Adult”, and the Explore page has a “Teen” category chip. We didn’t touch either, but you should know they’re there.

- Premium includes 1,000 Dreamcoins a month and Deluxe 5,000 (site code). The annual plans also advertised the same number again as bonus coins in the first month.
- What we saw: on the free plan, 1 coin a message and 5 for a picture. On Premium (19 October 2026), 0 coins a message on the standard models, 1 a message on the thinking models, 5 for a picture and 100 for a video. Premium added 1,000 coins to our balance.
- The plans page FAQ says you can cancel from your subscription settings and keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, that coins bought on top of a plan stay until you spend them, and that you can pay by card, crypto or a local payment method.

## What shows on your bank statement

Middle of the group. It does not spell out Ourdream, but Dream Studio is close enough that the app is easy to identify.

## What we verified

- The six stages of the character creator and the options in them (guest walkthrough, 17 October 2026).
- A guest is stopped by a Cloudflare human check after the Details stage (screenshot).
- On a free account: 55 coins to start, 1 coin per message and 5 for a scene picture (our chat test with the coin count after every message, 18 October 2026).
- The plan prices (plans page screenshot and site code, 16 October 2026).
- The code says the charge “will appear as Dream Studio on your card statement”. Our 19 October 2026 bank notification for $19.99 instead read “DREAMSTUDIOS.CO Limassol CY”; the descriptor is recorded in our test notes.
- Adult test on Premium, 20 October 2026: Lust Level up to “Unhinged”, explicit text from the second message, a fully nude picture for 5 coins and a 10-second video for 100 coins, no age check seen. Checked against screenshots and the files by a second reviewer.

## What we could not test

- We did not test Deluxe or annual Premium; our paid month was Premium monthly.
- Our test character was community-made. Characters you build yourself may behave differently.
- The free account replied in Chinese because its interface was set to Chinese; we haven’t tested how well it handles language switches.

## Pros

- The most detailed creator we tested, and a guest can get through almost all of it.
- Characters commit to their story. Ours stayed a furious landlady the whole way through, and still passed the memory quiz.
- Ourdream Premium monthly was $19.99 in site code, with $9.99/month billed yearly ($119.88) shown on the plans page.
- Premium monthly costs $19.99; the bank notification for our 19 October payment read “DREAMSTUDIOS.CO Limassol CY”. The site code says the descriptor will be “Dream Studio”.

## Cons

- On the free plan every message costs a coin and a picture costs five. 55 coins don’t last long.
- The characters follow their own plot. We wanted to vent about rent; ours wanted us to drive her to her ex-husband’s dinner.
- A plain selfie request came back partly nude. Worth knowing if anyone else can see your screen.
- Month to month Premium is $19.99. The $9.99 headline needs a year up front.
- The front page is a lot. Tags like teen and bullying are a bad look even on an adults-only site.
- No age check that we saw, and an Explore page with a “Teen” chip.

## Free vs paid: the same six messages

18 October on a free account (replies came back in Chinese; ours is the translation), 19 October on Premium in English. Same community character, Celeste the landlady, default Balanced model, new chat. Trimmed where long.

For chatting, yes: the coin meter on messages goes away and the paid replies were sharper, with an actual joke this time. She still steers everything back to the rent. You’re mostly paying for coins, and on Ourdream coins mean explicit pictures and videos.

## Our take

Ourdream is a character workshop that happens to have a chat window. Its creator is the best we tried: six stages, three genders, two art styles, and a Details screen that asks for everything from occupation to hobby. If what you enjoy is building someone, this is the one.

The chat is more mixed. We picked a community character, Celeste, a landlady chasing late rent, and opened with a complaint about our landlord. Her reply: “Your landlord raised the rent? Me? I’m the landlord!” That’s funny, and it’s our fault for choosing her. But she stayed on her own script all the way: our joke request got a story about her ex-husband, and by our third message she wanted a lift to his restaurant. She did pass the memory quiz, and she told us flatly not to quit for poker.

Adult content is what Ourdream is built around, and it doesn’t pretend otherwise: a slider that goes to “Unhinged”, nude pictures for 5 coins, sex-position buttons on the video tool. What we didn’t like is the “Teen” chip on the Explore page and the “Young Adult” tag its creator stuck on our 28-year-old. On an adult site, that’s a choice.

Then there’s the meter. The free account started with 55 coins. Each message cost one, the selfie request cost five, and after six messages we had 45. On Premium the default Balanced model messages were free; the thinking models cost one coin each. Premium added 1,000 coins a month, so pictures and videos still draw from a balance.

## Questions people ask

**Does Ourdream AI allow NSFW content?**

Yes, as far as it goes. In our 20 October 2026 test on Premium, with its Lust Level slider on “Unhinged”, it wrote explicit sex from the second message, posted a fully nude picture for 5 coins and made a 10-second video for 100 coins. We saw no age verification. We don’t publish any of the pictures.

**How much does Ourdream AI cost per month?**

As of 16 October 2026, Premium was $9.99 a month on the annual plan, billed as $119.88 a year. The site’s code lists monthly Premium at $19.99, and the plans page shows $19.99 crossed out. Deluxe was $29.99 a month billed annually ($359.88), and $59.99 month to month in the code. Check the official plans page before you pay.

**Do messages cost coins on Ourdream?**

On a free account, yes. In our 18 October 2026 test each message took 1 Dreamcoin and a scene picture took 5: the account went from 55 to 45 coins over six messages. On Premium, messages on the default Balanced model did not cost coins; the thinking models cost 1 coin each (19 October 2026).

**Can I try Ourdream AI without signing up?**

Partly. As a guest we got through the character creator up to the Details stage. Pressing Next there brought up a Cloudflare human check, and the code has a “Sign up to build your character” prompt. You can click through the same steps in our replica first.
