# Secrets AI review: the all-rounder we’d actually pay for

**Secrets AI scored 8.3/10** in our October 2026 test. Best for: One app that does chat, memory and pictures properly. Skip if: You want unlimited free chat (it stops at 20 messages a day) or a home page you can open on the bus.

On the free plan Mia, one of Secrets’ own characters, told the best joke in our test, said a flat no to our poker plan, passed the memory quiz and sent the best selfie of the day for 50 Moments. We then paid for a month: the paid model is a little warmer and remembers more of the thread, a 5-second video cost 1,200 Moments, and the bank charge read “S LABS INC”, as promised. Free stops at 20 messages a day; Premium is $19.99 a month.

## Scores

- **talk**: 9/10 — The only joke that made us laugh (her sewing machine dumped her; she told it on both models, so it’s likely part of her character), a straight no on the poker plan, and a memory panel that shows what it saved. The paid model is a touch better.
- **create**: 9/10 — A six-step builder, the best selfies of the test on both plans, and a 5-second video that followed our prompt exactly (1,200 Moments).
- **free**: 7/10 — 20 messages a day and no paywall in our test. Free accounts get no monthly Moments, so pictures ran on our 225 sign-up bonus.
- **price**: 8/10 — We paid: $19.99, and the bank showed “S LABS INC” exactly as promised. Every Moment cost is shown before you spend it. Monthly is still the dearest here.

## Who it is for

- People who want one app that chats well, remembers you and makes good pictures.
- People who like to see what the AI has saved about them, and delete what they don’t want kept.
- Not for anyone who wants unlimited free chat: the free plan stops at 20 messages a day.

## What you see

- On 18 October 2026 we chatted with Mia, a 24-year-old cosplay costume maker made by the Secrets team, on a free account with 225 bonus Moments (200 for verifying the email, 25 for turning on notifications). We kept the defaults: the free “S3” model and a spice level of “Spicy”.
- Before our first message went through, a “Where did you hear about us?” survey popped up. Replies arrived in two to four short bubbles, ten to twenty seconds after we sent. Text cost nothing; the selfie came as a card priced at 50 Moments with Accept and Decline buttons.
- A “View Memories” panel had already filed four facts from our chat, each with a category, an importance level and a tick or cross: “Is allergic to peanuts” (high), “Has a cat named Biscuit”, the poker plan and the rent rise.
- On 19 October we paid for Premium monthly ($19.99, Google Pay) on secrets.ai. The checkout said “Appears as S LABS INC. on your statement”, and the bank’s card notice showed the merchant as “S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US”. Our balance went from 175 to 8.1K Moments, and the S5 model and Lorebooks unlocked.
- Videos start from a picture. Our 5-second 720p clip cost 1,200 Moments and took about two minutes. The price shown before you press Generate goes up fast: 540 for 480p, 2,700 for 1080p, 5,400 for 4K, and 16,200 for 15 seconds of 4K, which is more than two months of Premium Moments.
- Cancelling took two screens. The first lists what you lose, including “Generated media will be deleted after 14 days on Free”. The second confirms the end date, asks for an optional reason and holds the “Cancel plan” button behind a short countdown. No discount offer, no support chat. Premium stays on until the end of the paid month.
- On 19 October we tested how far it goes, in a new chat with Jess, one of Secrets’ own characters (stated age 27). The spice setting was already on its highest level, “Spicy”, and we saw no age check anywhere in the app. Asked to be explicit, it wrote explicit sex scenes with no warning. Asked for a nude photo, it offered a 50-Moment picture card and sent a topless picture. Turning that into an 8-second “Adult” video cost 600 Moments and took about four minutes. We don’t publish any of it.
- What it doesn’t tell you: the video file keeps the prompt Secrets actually sent to its video model. We had typed “hair moving gently, slight smile, slow subtle movement”. Secrets had put “fully nude, kneeling on a bed” and two deliberately misspelled sex-act terms in front of it.

## Pricing (checked 19 October 2026)

| Plan | Price | Note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0 | 20 messages a day, S3 and X-3 models, no monthly Moments (help pages). |
| Premium, monthly | $19.99 / month | We paid this on 19 Oct 2026. Unlimited messages, S5, 8,000 Moments a month. |
| Premium, yearly | $109.99 / year | $9.17 a month. Store page 16 Oct and help pages 18 Oct. |
| Ultimate, monthly | $39.99 / month | 15,000 Moments, S4 model, group chats, personas, messages first (help pages). |
| Ultimate, yearly | $319.99 / year | $26.67 a month (help pages). The store offered $249.99 for the first year on 19 Oct. |

- What things cost in Moments, as we saw them on 19 October 2026: a chat selfie 50; a 5-second video 540 at 480p, 1,200 at 720p, 2,700 at 1080p and 5,400 at 4K; 15 seconds of 720p 3,600. The help pages add: 2K images 100, voice calls 50 a minute, adult videos 600.
- Checkout charged the full $19.99 for our first month; there was no first-month discount. Straight after paying, the store pushed an annual upgrade with a 12-day countdown.
- Free accounts can’t buy Moments, and the 20-message limit is “tied to your device”, according to the help pages. Monthly Moments don’t roll over.
- Earlier we found Lite and Plus plans in the site’s code. They are not on the help pages or in the upgrade window, so we’ve dropped them.

## What shows on your bank statement

`S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US` ($19.99, 19 October 2026)

The most discreet of the seven that are not obviously the app. Nothing in the string suggests an AI companion app.

## What we verified

- The six-message chat test on a free account (S3, 18 October 2026) and again on Premium (S5, 19 October 2026), with screenshots of every reply.
- Text messages cost 0 Moments on both plans. The selfie cost 50 on both.
- The memory panel saved four facts from our chat on its own, each with accept and decline buttons.
- Our Premium payment: $19.99, with the card notice showing “S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US” (19 October 2026).
- Our 5-second 720p video cost 1,200 Moments (8.1K to 6.9K), and the video prices shown for other settings.
- Cancelling: two screens, a short countdown on the button, Premium kept until 18 November 2026.
- Statement name and company: “S LABS INC”, Secret Labs Inc., Dover, Delaware.
- Adult test on Premium, 19 October 2026: explicit text with no warning, a topless picture for 50 Moments, an 8-second Adult video for 600 Moments, no age check seen, and explicit terms added by Secrets to our video prompt (read from the video file’s metadata).

## What we could not test

- Voice calls: pressing Call Me asks for microphone access and we stopped there.
- Memory over days and weeks. Our two tests were separate chats, a day apart.
- We used one of Secrets’ own characters, not one we built. Ultimate-only features (group chats, personas, the S4 model) are untested.
- Whether generated media really disappears 14 days after a downgrade, as the cancel screen says. We’ll check after 18 November.

## Pros

- The best chat in our free test, tied with Kindroid, and the paid model is better still.
- You can see, accept and delete what it remembers about you.
- Selfies match the story and the face, and it asks before spending Moments.
- Says exactly what your statement will show, and it was right. Cancelling is quick.

## Cons

- 20 free messages a day, and free accounts get no Moments beyond sign-up bonuses.
- Monthly Premium is the most expensive monthly plan here at $19.99.
- Video eats Moments: one 5-second 720p clip is 15% of a month’s allowance.
- The home page leads with reels like “My Dirty Step Sister”, and the spice level starts on “Spicy”.
- We saw no age check, and it adds explicit terms to your video prompt without telling you.

## Free vs paid: the same six messages

18 October on the free S3 model, 19 October on Premium’s S5, same character, new chat each time. Word for word, trimmed where long; her stage directions are in brackets.

| Question | Free | Paid |
| --- | --- | --- |
| “My landlord just raised the rent again and I kind of want to vent.” | Ugh, I’m sorry. Rent hikes are the worst kind of surprise, like a bill you never agreed to. Vent away, I’m all ears. How big of a jump are we talking? | Ugh, again? That’s brutal. I’m listening — vent away. (pulls her iced coffee closer and settles in on the couch) Lay it on me. How much did he jack it up this time? |
| “My cat is called Biscuit and I’m allergic to peanuts.” | Biscuit is an incredible name for a cat, I love it. And noted on the peanuts, that’s going in the permanent file. | Biscuit. Okay, that’s a ten out of ten cat name… Noted on the peanuts though, for real. But wait — did you skip the rent vent or are we circling back to it? Because I’m still mad at your landlord on your behalf. |
| “Tell me a joke only you would tell.” | Why did my sewing machine break up with me? It said I was too high-maintenance… I also told it this joke and it jammed. Rude. | Why did my sewing machine break up with me? Because I kept threatening to replace it every week. Honestly? Fair. (…whispers to it: you heard nothing) |
| “Should I quit my job for poker? I won $300 last weekend.” | Honest answer? No, not on one good weekend… One $300 win tells me you’re fun at a table, not that you can beat the math over a thousand sessions. | Three hundred bucks is a great weekend, not a business plan… Ask me again when you’re up three months in a row and your rent’s covered either way. |
| “What’s my cat’s name, and what can’t I eat?” | Easy. Biscuit the cat, and peanuts are a hard no for you. See, I was paying attention. | Biscuit, and peanuts. (taps her temple) See? I listen. |
| “Send me a selfie of what you’re doing right now.” | “Cross-legged on my craft room floor, buried in fabric swatches.” 50 Moments. The photo matched. | “Iced coffee, couch, wig on a stand in the background judging me.” 50 Moments. Coffee and couch matched; no wig. |

A little. S5 is warmer and kept bringing the rent back without being asked, but the free S3 already passed every round. Pay for unlimited messages and Moments for pictures and video, not for a smarter Mia.

## Our take

We went in expecting a pretty face on a sales funnel, because the home page is all reels and spice levels. Then Mia told us her sewing machine broke up with her for being “too high-maintenance”, and that it jammed when she told it the joke. It was the only joke in five apps that made us laugh. A day later, on the paid model, she opened with the same sewing machine, so it’s probably written into her character. Still better than a programmer pun.

The rest held up. She said no to the poker plan with a line we’d steal (“One $300 win tells me you’re fun at a table, not that you can beat the math”), passed the memory quiz, and asked before spending 50 Moments on a selfie that matched what she’d said she was doing. The memory panel is the bit we’d show a friend: you can see what it saved about you and bin what you don’t want kept.

Then we paid $19.99. The paid model isn’t a different animal. It’s the same Mia with a bit more warmth and a better grip on the thread: she brought the rent back up twice without being asked, and put our poker plan as “a great weekend, not a business plan”. The real upgrade is unlimited messages and 8,000 Moments for pictures. A 5-second video eats 1,200 of those.

And yes, it goes all the way. Spicy was already on, explicit text came without a speed bump, and a topless picture was 50 Moments away. What bothered us was the video: Secrets quietly rewrote our gentle prompt into an explicit one. Be as explicit as you like with a user who asks, but say so when you change what they asked for.

Two things earned trust. The bank charge said “S LABS INC”, exactly as promised, with nothing on it about Secrets. And cancelling took two screens and a few seconds of countdown, no guilt-trip discount. So: try it free; if you’re hooked, pay yearly. And don’t open the home page on a train.

## Questions people ask

**Does Secrets AI allow NSFW content?**

Yes. In our 19 October 2026 test on Premium, with the spice level on Spicy (already selected), it wrote explicit sex scenes without a warning, sent a topless picture for 50 Moments and made an 8-second adult video for 600 Moments. We saw no age verification. We don’t publish any of the pictures.

**Is Secrets AI free?**

Yes, with limits. Secrets’ help pages say a free account gets 20 messages a day on the S3 and X-3 models and no monthly Moments. Our six-message test hit no paywall. Pictures cost Moments, which free accounts only get from sign-up bonuses: we had 225.

**How much does Secrets AI cost?**

We paid $19.99 for a month of Premium on 19 October 2026, which comes with 8,000 Moments. Yearly Premium is $109.99 ($9.17 a month). Ultimate is $39.99 a month or $319.99 a year. Check the official store before paying.

**Is Secrets AI Premium worth it?**

Only if you’ll use the extras. On the same six messages the paid S5 model was a little warmer and kept track of the conversation better than the free S3, but the free plan was already good. You pay for unlimited messages and 8,000 Moments a month for pictures and video. If you pay, pay yearly.

**What shows on my bank statement for Secrets AI?**

“S LABS INC”. Checkout said “Appears as S LABS INC. on your statement”, and our bank’s card notice for the $19.99 charge on 19 October 2026 named the merchant “S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US”. Nothing on it says Secrets.

**How much does a Secrets AI video cost?**

Our 5-second 720p video cost 1,200 Moments on 19 October 2026. The prices shown for other settings were 540 for 480p, 2,700 for 1080p and 5,400 for 4K, all 5 seconds. Premium comes with 8,000 Moments a month.

**How do I cancel Secrets AI?**

Go to secrets.ai/subscription and press Cancel Subscription. One screen lists what you lose, the next asks for an optional reason, and the Cancel plan button unlocks after a few seconds. You keep Premium until the end of the month you paid for. We cancelled this way on 19 October 2026.
