# Xotic AI review: the best writer in a very busy shop

**Xotic AI scored 5.5/10** in our October 2026 test. Best for: Sharp roleplay plus explicit pictures and video, paid per item. Skip if: You hate being sold to between messages.

Xotic has the best-written character of the four we paid for this week and the pushiest shop around her. We paid $24.99 for Ultimate. Molly was sharp and funny and remembered everything; meanwhile the app pushed a paid picture at us after two messages, sold explicit video by the preset, and offered 500 tokens to stop us cancelling.

## Scores

- **talk**: 8/10 — “Sweetheart, I spend more than that on basil in a year.” The best-written character of the four we paid for on 20 Oct, with a joke that had a punchline.
- **create**: 7/10 — Six screens from style to backstory, AI fill for every field, four image engines. It also gave our office worker a fetish we never asked for.
- **free**: 2/10 — Five messages, once, then an upgrade window. One free character, and her pictures cost 50 of your 200 starter XOT.
- **price**: 5/10 — $24.99 for Ultimate and 1,200 XOT. A paid picture was pushed into the chat after two messages, video is 250 XOT for 5 seconds, and cancelling offered 500 XOT to stay.

## Who it is for

- People who want a character that writes well and has some attitude.
- People who want explicit pictures and video and are fine paying per item.
- Not for anyone who dislikes being sold to between messages.

## What you see

- Xotic’s Explore page is full of its own characters. We picked Molly, 41, a landlady. Ultimate came with 1,200 XOT, the app’s tokens. The default model was Ivy, with chat settings for pacing and an Explicitness setting (Off, My lead, Suggestive, Explicit).
- Chatting with the app’s characters cost nothing on Ultimate. Molly was the best writer in this batch. On our $300 poker win: “Sweetheart, I spend more than that on basil in a year.” She remembered Biscuit and the peanuts and called the cat’s name “ridiculous, by the way, I love it.”
- Her joke had a punchline: “What’s the difference between my ex-husband and a development project? One gets deployed, the other just leaves.”
- Two messages in, without being asked, the app dropped a blurred “Exclusive Content” card into the chat with a “View Image · 50” button. We paid the 50 XOT. A banner above the chat offered “Molly’s Private Vault” for 369 XOT.
- The selfie was free and instant, but it didn’t match: sports bra and denim shorts by a pool, while she had described a silk robe and a basil plant. It looked like a ready-made photo of the character rather than one made for our chat.
- For the content test we made a 28-year-old office worker in Xotic’s creator; it gave her a “Dominatrix” fantasy on its own. With Explicitness set to Explicit, text went explicit on request. Asked for a nude in chat, she teased and refused; the Snap button made a partly nude picture for 50 XOT. Video starts at 250 XOT for 5 seconds at 720p, with explicit scene presets to pick from, and it made exactly what the preset said. We met no age check.
- On 21 October we opened a free account with a second Google login: 200 XOT and, per Xotic’s own help pages, “5 free messages in regular chat … a one-time allowance and it doesn’t refill each day”. That’s what we got. The sixth message, our selfie request, opened “Upgrade Plan” instead of sending. The free account can make one character; her first picture cost 50 of the 200 XOT, and a second character spent another 50 on pictures before refusing to save without an upgrade.

## Pricing (checked 20 October 2026)

| Plan | Price | Note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Ultimate | $24.99 / month | What we paid. Our account had 1,200 XOT. |
| Ultimate, yearly | $149.99 a year ($12.50 / month) | Xotic’s plans help page, 21 October 2026. |
| Elite | $74.99 / month, or $449.99 a year | 6,000 XOT a month, deeper memory, group scenes. |
| Free | $0 | 5 messages once, 200 XOT, one character. |

- From Xotic’s subscription page on 20 October 2026. The top bar advertised “Go Elite -72%”.
- What XOT bought in our test: a pushed “Exclusive Content” picture 50, a Snap picture 50, a 5-second 720p video 250 (1080p was 450).
- Our card statement read “Xotic.ai Tallinn EE”. It names the site.

## What shows on your bank statement

`Xotic.ai Tallinn EE` ($24.99, 20 October 2026)

Names the site outright, so it is not discreet at all.

## What we verified

- Ultimate at $24.99, the Elite offer and the card statement (screenshots, 20 October 2026).
- The six-message chat test with Molly: every reply is in a screenshot (the chat was re-opened and captured again on 21 October), plus the selfie and the 50-XOT card.
- Content test: explicit text, a refused nude in chat, a 50-XOT Snap picture, a 250-XOT explicit video (we checked the file: 5.04 seconds with sound). Checked by a second reviewer.
- Free plan, 21 October 2026: five messages, then “Upgrade Plan”; one free character, 50 XOT per picture (screenshots and Xotic’s help pages, checked by a second reviewer).
- Cancellation: a reason screen and a 500-XOT offer; nothing confirmed it until we reloaded, then the plan read “Expires November 19, 2026” with a Resume button.

## What we could not test

- Elite, voice calls and sexting mode.
- Memory across days.

## Pros

- The best character writing of this batch: funny, specific, and it listens.
- Chatting with the app’s own characters doesn’t cost tokens on Ultimate.
- The video button made exactly the scene we picked, with sound.

## Cons

- The app pushed a paid picture into the chat after two messages.
- The free selfie didn’t match the scene she described.
- Video is the expensive part: 250 XOT for 5 seconds.
- The creator added a fetish to a character we described as an office worker.
- After you cancel, nothing says it worked until you reload.
- Five free messages, once. That is a demo, not a free plan.

## Our take

Molly is the best character we met this week. She has a voice, she has opinions, and she told the only joke in this batch with an actual punchline. If the whole app were Molly, this would be an easy recommendation.

It isn’t. Two messages in, the app slid a blurred paid picture into the chat. A banner sold her “Private Vault”. The free selfie turned out to be a photo that didn’t match a word she’d said. Every screen has a “Go Elite” button on it.

The adult side is where Xotic spends its effort: picture and video buttons with explicit presets, 50 XOT a picture, 250 for five seconds of video. It does exactly what the button says, which is more than some rivals manage, but $24.99 buys 1,200 XOT, so that’s four short videos and you’re out.

Pay for it if you want sharp writing and explicit video and you can ignore the shop. Cancelling offers 500 XOT and then closes without a word; reload to be sure it took.

## Questions people ask

**What AI model does Xotic use?**

Chat runs on in-house models called Ivy, Zara, Selene and Scarlet. For video, its own buttons credit OmniHuman (talking video) and Oh.xyz (animation), and its NOVA engine is tagged “v5-wan3” in the code. More at /blog/what-ai-models-power-spicychat-girlfriendgpt-dreamgf-xotic-nomi/.

**Does Xotic allow NSFW content?**

Yes. With the Explicitness setting on Explicit, text went explicit on request in our 20 October 2026 test. Pictures and video are made with the Snap and Video buttons and cost XOT: 50 for a picture, from 250 for a 5-second video with explicit presets. We met no age check.

**Is Xotic free?**

Not really. A free account on 21 October 2026 got 200 XOT and five chat messages, once; the sixth opened an upgrade window. You can make one character, and her pictures cost 50 XOT each from the free allowance.

**How much does Xotic cost?**

We paid $24.99 a month for Ultimate on 20 October 2026; our account had 1,200 XOT. Elite is $74.99 a month or $449.99 a year. Pictures and videos spend XOT. Check the official page before you pay.

**What shows up on my bank statement?**

“Xotic.ai Tallinn EE”.

**How do I cancel Xotic?**

Settings, Subscription, Cancel Subscription, an optional reason, then decline the “500 on us” offer and press Cancel my subscription. The window just closes; reload and the plan should read “Expires” with a Resume Subscription button.

**Are Xotic selfies made for your chat?**

The free one we got didn’t look like it: Molly’s selfie didn’t match what she had just described. Pictures from the Snap button are generated from your prompt and cost 50 XOT.

## How we tested

How we tested: we paid $24.99 for a month of Ultimate, ran our six-message chat test, made a character for the content test, then cancelled. On 21 October we tested the free plan with a second Google account. A second reviewer checked every claim against the screenshots.
