Save Draft's screen was not seen in our walkthrough; the button is rebuilt from the app's code.

SpicyChat character creator replica

SpicyChat won’t show you much before you sign up, so we went through its character creator ourselves and rebuilt it here screen by screen: the same questions, the same options, in the same order. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you pick is saved or sent to SpicyChat, and the finished character isn’t generated, because only the real app can do that.

What the real SpicyChat does

SpicyChat opens on a wall of characters made by its users, sorted by tags. We picked Jasmine (@roror_), 42, and started a new chat on the default model (26B, 32K context) with 8K of chat memory.

On True Supporter there was no balance anywhere: no coins, no message counter. Six messages in, we had not seen a single prompt to pay more, only a Subscribe link in the sidebar.

Our verdict: 7.5/10

A giant library of user-made characters and a $19.95 plan with nothing left to buy: unlimited chat, pictures included. The writing is earnest rather than funny, and there is no video.
