Best Muah AI alternatives: clearer billing, tested chat

Have we tested Muah AI itself?
No. We have not signed up for Muah AI, chatted with it, paid for it or seen its merchant descriptor. We are not going to describe its billing from memory, because that is exactly the part of this market that people get wrong.
The rest of this page is our own paper trail. Eight apps were paid for in October 2026, seven of them have a merchant string in our files, and each of those is published word for word on its own page under /billing/.
Which alternatives name themselves on the statement?
Three of the seven we photographed do, in effect: Candy printed “EverAI candy.ai MT”, DreamGF printed “Dream AI dreamgf.ai RO”, and Xotic printed “Xotic.ai Tallinn EE”. Secrets printed “S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US”, which tells a reader nothing about what you bought.
SpicyChat and GirlfriendGPT both print an NDAI line with the same phone number, 514-2860020 — they are separate subscriptions from the same operator, NextDay AI. Cancelling one leaves the other running; both were charged on the same evening in our test. We have no card notice for Nomi or Kindroid yet, so we do not know what they print.

Graded “good” when the reply did the job, “meh” when it half did, “miss” when it got it wrong, and “No reply” where the app never got that far — Candy’s free chat locked after five messages, so rounds five and six have no answer. Free-round winners are the ones we wrote down at the time; the paid rounds have no written winner line, so every app we graded “good” shares the round.

One month of the plan we checked, the free plan as we found it, and the merchant string from our own card notice where we have one. We have no notice for Nomi or Kindroid, so those rows say so.

What should you check before you switch?
- Screenshot the checkout’s statement line before paying. Secrets named its descriptor and matched it.
- Check the rebill amount, not the first month. DreamGF goes $12.99 → $25.98.
- Do not assume cancelling one NDAI charge cancels the other.
- Keep the card notice. Our /billing/ pages let you match a line to an app and an amount.

Which app is most discreet on a bank statement?
Of the seven notices we photographed, Secrets is the cleanest: “S LABS INC 604-3295224 CA US”. SpicyChat (“NDAI.CC”) and GirlfriendGPT (“NDAI.CHAT”) are also opaque. Candy and DreamGF print their own web address.
How many screens does cancelling take on each app?
Two on Secrets and SpicyChat; three on Ourdream, with a 200-DreamCoin offer; four on Candy; five on DreamGF, including a bonus that would stop a cancellation for 30 days. Xotic shows a reason screen and a 500-XOT offer. GirlfriendGPT asks for a required reason, offers no discount, and confirms “Cancelled” after a reload. We have not cancelled Kindroid or Nomi.
Can a charge appear that I did not authorise?
A subscription you started can charge again at renewal, and Candy’s characters can spend tokens on media without asking — an 18-token video landed after our third message. That is why the cancellation screens matter more than the price on the checkout.
