Have we tested CrushOn AI itself?
No. CrushOn AI is not in our nine-app test: no six messages, no paid month, no card notice. Its prices and its filter behaviour on this page would be invention, so there are none.
What follows is the nine apps we did test in October 2026 — five on free accounts on 18 October and four on paid accounts on 20 October — with the scores we gave them, the prices we paid, and what each one charges after the free allowance runs out.
Which tested app has no per-message meter?
SpicyChat. The $19.95 plan we paid for gave unlimited messages and in-chat pictures, and we never saw a coin counter anywhere in the paid test. Nomi has no meter either and never put a paywall in front of us, though its free plan caps daily pictures at two.
The rest sell media by the unit. Secrets uses Moments (50 a photo, 1,200 for a 5-second video) but shows every cost before you spend it. Ourdream charges 1 coin a message on the free plan. Xotic charges 50 XOT a picture and 250 for a 5-second video. Candy, GirlfriendGPT and DreamGF all run token or coin balances, and in Candy’s case the character spent 18 tokens on a video we never asked for.

Graded “good” when the reply did the job, “meh” when it half did, “miss” when it got it wrong, and “No reply” where the app never got that far — Candy’s free chat locked after five messages, so rounds five and six have no answer. Free-round winners are the ones we wrote down at the time; the paid rounds have no written winner line, so every app we graded “good” shares the round.

One month of the plan we checked, the free plan as we found it, and the merchant string from our own card notice where we have one. We have no notice for Nomi or Kindroid, so those rows say so.

What should you check before you switch?
- Add up the media costs, not just the subscription. Xotic’s Ultimate month is $24.99 and a 5-second video is 250 XOT.
- Check whether pictures are included. On SpicyChat they are; on GirlfriendGPT a picture of your own character needs Elite or Deluxe.
- Read the first-month price and the rebill price separately. Candy is $9.99 then $13.99; DreamGF is $12.99 then $25.98.
- Watch for characters spending coins on their own. Candy did it 18 tokens at a time.

Which is cheapest per month among the ones you tested?
For the first month, Candy at $9.99 — but it rebills at $13.99. For an ongoing month, in order: Candy and Kindroid at $13.99 (Kindroid on the web; $15.99 in its iPhone app), GirlfriendGPT at $15, Nomi at $15.99, SpicyChat at $19.95 plus tax, Secrets and Ourdream at $19.99, Xotic at $24.99, then DreamGF at $25.98 from month two. The cheapest yearly rate we saw is Candy’s $3.99 a month, which needs 12 months up front.
